Hialeah, FL / May 16, 2016 – Hialeah Park Racing & Casino, known all over South Florida as “the go to destination for the best in gaming and entertainment,” will offer another exciting full day of action at Champions Simulcast Center & Sports Bar and in the Hialeah Park Casino on Saturday May 21, 2016.

At Champions, located on the second floor of the Clubhouse, horse racing fans can watch-and wager on the 141st Preakness Stakes from Pimlico Race Track in Baltimore, a race that will draw Kentucky Derby winner Nyquist and a field of rivals for the 2nd jewel of Thoroughbred racing’s Triple Crown.

After defeating 19 competitors as the wagering favorite at Churchill Downs in Louisville on May 7, Nyquist emerged as the only remaining three-year-old horse in the land to have a chance at duplicating Americah Pharoah’s Triple Crown heroics of 2015.

The doors at Hialeah Park will open at 9:30 AM and The Preakness –scheduled for a 6:18 PM ET start– will highlight a packed schedule of full card “watch and wager” simulcast horse racing at Champions.

Gaming patrons will have ample opportunity to win free play and cash in the ongoing $10,000 Super Saturday Drawings at the Hialeah Park Casino.

The first $1,000 hourly free play drawings will take place from 2-4 PM, with a $2,000 CASH drawing at 5 PM. A second round of $1,000 hourly free play drawings is scheduled from 9 PM to midnight, with a $2,000 CASH drawing set for midnight.

Free entries are available to all Players Club members and members earn additional entries when they play in the casino on drawing days.
