In the Hialeah Junior Maturity, the four-year-old gelding Eye Get the Blues, ridden by Oscar Delgado and trained by Eduardo Morales for owner Elianny Estupinan, broke sharply, took command immediately, and was never threatened en route to victory. Veteran jockey Rodrigo Vallejo rode Politicaly Correct for owners Walter R. Harrison and James E. Helzer. Harrison bred the gelding, by Apollitical Jess (Mr Jess Perry) out of the Tres Seis mare Senorita Tres, in Texas.
