Hialeah Park Casino To Televise Pacquiao-Bradley II April 12
Rematch Between Two Tested Champions Will Be Shown In Flamingo Lounge
Manny Pacquiao (L) Battles Timothy Bradley, Jr. Saturday April 12 At The MGM Grand In Las Vegas
Hialeah, FL / April 4, 2014 – Hialeah Park Casino will offer South Florida boxing fans a special opportunity to watch the much-talked-about rematch between seasoned world champions Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KOs) and Timothy Bradley, Jr. (31-0-0, 12 KOs) on Saturday April 12, 2014 in the Flamingo Lounge.
The twelve-round bout at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, NV –in which Bradley’s WBO Welterwight title will be on the line– will be the second championship fight in two years between the very accomplished veterans.
Bradley wrested his current crown from Pacquiao on June 9, 2012 in the same venue as the upcoming rematch in what is still described by longtime ring observers as one of the most controversial decisions in boxing history.
Bradley scored highly disputed split decision victory, a result that prompted the World Boxing Organization to hold an independent video review of the fight in which all three judges scored the fight as a victory for Pacquiao.
The Pacquiao-Bradley II telecast kicks off a busy stretch of boxing action at Hialeah Park & Casino, highlighted by a live fight card on Thursday May 1, 2014 when the iconic venue hosts “Noche De Combates,” a special edition of ESPN Thursday Night Fights. Two days later on May 3, Hialeah Park Casino will show the Floyd Mayweather, Jr.–Marcos Madiana WBC Welterweight/WBC Super World Welterweight title fight, also in the Flamingo Lounge.
Hialeah Park Casino, with entrances at 100 East 32nd Street and 2200 East 4th Avenue, is easily accessible from all major Miami highways and conveniently located just minutes by car from Miami International Airport, South Beach, Downtown Miami, Coral Gables, and Doral.
