Legendary Band Leader Featured At Hialeah Park’s 2nd Annual New Year’s Eve Gala


Hialeah, FL / December 18, 2014 – The iconic Citation Ballroom is “the place to be” this New Year’s Eve, December 31, as Hialeah Park Racing & Casino hosts the 2nd Annual New Year’s Eve Gala, with proceeds benefiting the non-profit rehabilitation agency Here’s Help.

Legendary musician and band leader Tito Puente, Jr. will be the featured performer at the festive gala, an event that includes cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, gourmet dinner, music and dancing, a champagne celebration at midnight, and casino gaming.   

“New Year’s Eve has always been a magical night,” commented Puente. “We’ll make this 2nd Annual New Year’s Eve Gala a night to remember. I’m excited to be part of this event and proud to support Here’s Help.”

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to benefit Here’s Help,” said Hialeah Park’s Director of Marketing & Entertainment Frank Fiore. “I’ve visited the Here’s Help facilities, I’ve seen what they’re doing, and I’ve talked to the people they’ve helped. They’re doing amazing work and we want to provide as much support as we can.”

Here’s Help, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, comprehensive rehabilitation agency that caters to inner-city adolescents with substance dependency and addiction in Miami-Dade County. Founded in 1968, Here’s Help has become one of Miami-Dade County’s premiere providers of residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment, serving an average of 500 adolescents and young adults (starting at the age of 13) annually.
