FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Miami, Florida) July 1, 2013—Hialeah Park Casino proudly announces that it is the first casino in the world to install the latest in the line of Shuffle Master Electronic Blackjack Machines. With the grand opening quickly approaching this summer Hialeah Park Casino is looking to lead the pack in South Florida gaming entertainment.
The announcement of the installation of the most up-to-date Electronic Blackjack machines is a clear message to the public that Hialeah Park Casino will always strive to provide its customers with the most current technology that the industry has to offer. Hialeah Park owner John J. Brunetti has pulled together a stellar team to carry out his vision of the Casino.
General Manager of Casino Operations at Hialeah Park Casino, Steve Calabro, was one of the first team members brought on board by Brunetti to bring the casino to fruition. Calabro has thirty-two years of experience in the casino industry, got his start in Atlantic City, and later oversaw operations at Gulfstream Racing & Casino before his current role at Hialeah. When hired, Calabro rapidly applied his wealth of experience to the project. As soon as construction began on the casino, he “put his feelers out” and listened carefully to his customer base. From specific slot machines being chosen, to the entrance to the casino layout, many of the venue’s elements carry Calabro’s fingerprints.
Calabro said: I was honored to be brought on to this project, as Hialeah Park represents almost a century of time-honored history to South Florida. Knowing this, I wanted to make this casino the crown jewel of my career in South Florida. I am proud to boast that our team has done extensive market research to provide the latest and greatest in gaming to our customer base. The installation of these Electronic Blackjack machines is just the tip of the iceberg as we unveil the casino this summer. Furthermore, as the general manager of casino operations, I guarantee that Hialeah Park Casino will offer the biggest payouts in Florida.”
Hialeah Park, which is considered “THE” racetrack by horse racing enthusiasts, is currently undergoing a major transformation which will bring a gorgeous new casino and will revitalize one of South Florida’s gems. Hialeah Park’s renovation, which is just Phase 1 of a bolder future plan, will showcase a casino that will house 882 slots, 23 poker tables, electronic blackjack, electronic roulette, and domino tables along with a variety of lounges, cafes and restaurants. Construction crews are currently working around the clock to unveil the casino this summer.
