Hialeah, FL / October 14, 2019 – Miami Dolphins icon and Pro Football Hall of Famer Larry Little will host his annual Hall Of Famers Night in the Citation Room at Hialeah Park on Friday, December 6.

The evening will include live and silent auctions, music and dancing, and opportunities for plenty of “up close and personal” time with many of the best players in the history of the National Football League.

The always well-attended event at Hialeah Park takes place the night before the 13th annual Larry Little Legends Golf Classic at Don Shula’s Golf Club on Saturday, December 7.

Proceeds from both the Hall of Famers Night and the Legends Golf Classic will benefit the Larry Little Athletic Training Scholarship Fund at Bethune Cookman University and help provide scholarships for minority students in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

In its 13 years of existence, the Larry Little Legends Athletic Training Scholarship Fund at Bethune Cookman University has raised over $1,000,000.

“None of this would have been possible without the enduring support of Hialeah Park and the Brunetti family,” Little added. “The late John Brunetti, Sr. was always so generous and his sons have continued the tradition.”

Since retiring as a player, Larry Little has developed an enduring legacy as a man who supports and give back to the community. He has established the Larry Little Gold Coast Summer Camp and Leadership Academy to support the development of youth from the undeserved communities of the City of Miami for the purpose of creating and inspiring tomorrow’s leaders today.

“Hall of Famers Night at Hialeah Park has always been a special evening,” Little said. “Tony Segreto will emcee the evening again and we have commitments from NFL Hall of Famers Bobby Bell, John Randle, Ted Hendricks, Tom Mack, Ken Houston, Dwight Stephenson, Rickey Jackson, Elvin Bethea, Paul Warfield, Leroy Kelly, Lem Barney, and NBA Hall of Famer Sam Jones to attend this year’s festivities.”

Little anchored the offensive line for Miami from 1970 to 1980 and the talented guard played a significant role in the Dolphins’ historic undefeated season and Super Bowl VII victory in 1972.
