Miami-Based Band ¡Mayday! Set For Show On ESPN Fight Night

Hip Hop Band Will Perform Live Concert At Hialeah Park Wednesday November 25

Hialeah, FL / November 12, 2015 – Hialeah Park will be in the spotlight on Wednesday November 25, the day before Thanksgiving, when this iconic South Florida venue hosts a world championship boxing match for the first time in its storied existence.

The history-making night will continue after the last fight on the card as the Miami-based Hip Hop band ¡Mayday! takes center stage on the newly renovated Fountain Terrace for a live concert open to fight fans and the public.

“We are a Miami band, so what could be “more Miami” than playing at Hialeah Park,” said rapper Ben Miller (aka Wreckonize). “We are thrilled  and honored to have the opportunity to showcase our music on a historic evening at such a well-known South Florida venue.”

¡Mayday! consists of rappers Bernz and Ben Miller along with producer, keyboardist/guitarist Ken Preiser (aka Plex Luthor), percussionist Andrews Mujica (aka NonMS), drummer Terrel (aka L T Hopkins), and bassist Gianni Perocapi (aka Gianni Cash).

While working earlier this year on what would become their third album for Strange Music, the label that signed the band in 2011, the musicians of ¡Mayday! found themselves in a new creative space.

“We were at a place where we wanted to combine everything we’ve learned and done, to this point; take the best that we’ve put out in the past, take some notes we’ve never hit before and do a combination,” Ben Miller said. “So Bernz came up with Future Vintage. It’s a combination of looking back and looking forward  and at the same time trying to make something that one day is going to be a classic or considered a classic. We like it!”
